Anxiety Disorders True Stories Of Survival

We are looking for true stories from people who have at one point lived with an anxiety disorder and learned to overcome it.  We are also interested in people who suffer from anxiety disorders, but have learned healthy ways to deal with, cope, and adapt to their situation.

Give us real, give us raw, hold nothing back.  We want stories from the heart, incorporating both the ups and the downs of an anxiety disorder.

How did an anxiety disorder affect your life? How did you get through the everyday curve balls life can throw us, and deal, overcome, or learn to cope with your anxiety at the same time? How did it change the way you look at, and deal with stressful situations today?  What helped you make it through the downs?  Who offered a shoulder to lean on?

We want stories to include the seriousness of anxiety, the fear, the frustration, and finally how you got to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Inspiration and hope are key.  We want people to read your story and realize they are not alone, help lift the feelings of isolation and depression.

Most importantly, how do you stay ahead of your anxiety disorder?  Share your knowledge and experience with the readers of this anthology book.  Your story might be the one which causes someone reach to out and get the help they need, or realize there are other people out there who felt the way they do and overcame it.   Stories need to be sent by electronic submissions only. Your stories should be attached, not pasted into the body of your email, in RTF. or DOC. format. Please send your story to:

Also, please provide a brief cover letter with all your contact info, title, and word count and publication history, if any.    Never been published? Not a problem, we still want to hear from you. We all started somewhere. This could be your chance to be published.

Yours, mine, Pete's and Suzanne's emails are done.  The webmaster address will be done this weekend.  The hubby can add email addresses as you have them for other editors. Just send him a list like Pete did for Evil Jester.

A simple website with basic info is finished for Evil Jester.  The site is not done, but it's something more that a splash page for people to see when they go to the site.  He's working on a simple site for Hidden Thoughts as well.  The "fancy" sites, as he calls them, are in the works.

Suzanne:
Do we still have time to send our pieces in? Mine still needs to be edited.

Yes there is still time, just make sure it discusses elements or symptoms of anxiety.

This should by out by April, David. I'm giving it a final look, then, unless I find something I want fixed, off it goes to layout.
